Session Recommendations 101!

What do I wear?

The most important thing? Wear something that feels like you! Not the most Pinterest-perfect outfit- but something you feel comfortable and confident in. You’ll be moving, walking, close to each other, maybe even sitting in the grass if that's your vibe! Your clothes should move with you and feel natural, not forced.

Soft tones, earthy colours, and worn-in textures (like linen, knits, or cotton) tend to photograph beautifully. But that doesn’t mean everything has to be neutral - rich tones like forest green, rust, charcoal, or navy can add depth without stealing focus.

For couples, aim to complement each other, not match. Think shared energy or mood - cozy and casual, or a little more elevated - but make sure you’re on the same page. Try to avoid bright neons, loud patterns, or big logos - they can pull attention away from your connection.

And if you're unsure, I’m always happy to help. Send me your outfit options and I’ll weigh in. At the end of the day, the best photos come from when you feel like yourselves. That’s the vibe we’re going for.
